EDEN, NY March 17, 2011 – Karstedt Partners, LLC, a global leader in business-to-business consulting and market research solutions for consumer product and packaging industries has renamed and restructured their corporation, formerly known as Karstedt Associates, to Karstedt Partners, LLC. Industry veteran, Jeff Wettersten was appointed President and joins Founder and newly appointed CEO, Kevin Karstedt as principal analysts and research consultants.

Since 1996, Karstedt Associates has provided practical insight, research, and consulting services to a range of companies seeking to adopt and integrate digital technologies into their packaging supply chains. Current and past clients include industry manufacturers such as Hewlett-Packard, Scitex, Sun Chemical, Epson, Fujifilm, X-Rite, Xeikon, Kodak, Inca, and Durst. They have also provided intelligence on best workflow practices to high-profile corporate clients including; CitiCorp, Avencia, Schering Plough, Gulf States Paper, Muller Martini, and Ball Corporation to name a few.

“For the past year Jeff and I have worked with many key clients and a number of key projects together and have established a solid working relationship,” says Kevin Karstedt. Jeff Wettersten brings an extensive background in business strategic planning, marketing, and sales building from a variety of industries including; electrical equipment, metal processing, packaging, and digital printing. In addition to his own consulting company Wettersten Consulting, Jeff has worked with industry giants such as General Electric, Temple Inland, and Sun Chemical and is well known in the packaging industry as a visionary focused on the development of digital printing systems.

The new organization and team will support Karstedt Partners’ vision as they prepare to roll-out a series of new services including Commercialization Assessment Reports, One-to-One Consulting, multi-client research and data studies, along with a new website and industry blog. Over the next several months, Karstedt Partners will deliver a wide range of resources to companies seeking to adopt digital workflows in design and prepress, digital proofing, remote approval of art, virtual proofing, computer-to-plate for offset/flexography, and digital printing.
